Willis Wood Products was established in 2024, built on more than 50 years of combined experience in the wood and firewood industry. We are a family-owned and operated business proudly serving southeastern Connecticut, focused on producing clean, consistent, high-quality wood products the right way.

The company is owned and operated by Jacob Willis, a fourth-generation wood professional. Jacob took over a small firewood and sawmilling operation and has grown it into the business it is today through hands-on work, investment in proper equipment, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

We source our own timber, with much of our material coming from yard trees and local tree removals. Every log is processed in-house—from sawing and splitting to drying, storing, and packaging. Nothing is outsourced.

All of our firewood is handled entirely inside our warehouse. In an industry where most firewood is split and stored outdoors on dirt, we built specialized steel racking systems to keep our wood clean while it air dries. Our kiln-dried firewood is targeted to finish below 20 percent moisture, producing a reliable, clean-burning product that lights easily and burns consistently.

We produce and sell firewood, kiln-dried firewood, BBQ and pizza wood, and kiln-dried slabs from our sawmill. From homeowners heating their homes to restaurants and commercial customers that rely on cooking wood, our customers know exactly what they’re getting—clean wood, consistent quality, and no surprises.

We’re straight-forward, no-nonsense, and hands-on. We believe good wood comes from doing the work right, keeping things clean, and standing behind what we sell. That’s how it’s always been done in New England—and that’s how we’ll keep doing it.
